Guest Hacks & Treks

Let our experienced and knowledgeable guides take you on horse back to share this magnificent peninsulas beauty and history with you . 

We offer small group sizes and private trekking options for a more personal experience .

We use general purpose saddles only. No Western saddles . 

Photo options on all our treks at a designated stop .  

Our I hour treks include 10 minute arena evaluation / lesson. 

We provide helmets , boots  & chaps . 

Treks leave on time , please be at the stables 20 minutes prior . 

We have a no refund policy should the client cancel .  A refund will be given should Burnham Riding Centre have to cancel. 

 

 

Dingle Bay €30 Half Hour 

Taking you through the Burnham woods leading directly onto the Dingle Bay shoreline at an easy pace

this trek gets you close to wildlife and allows you to enjoy views of Dingle Town with the Brandon Mountain Range.

This Trek is ideal for families and is a great photo opportunity for the Family Album.

Small children will be accompanied by our leaders and receive a rosette after their ride.

This Trek is intended for beginner adults , teens and children ages 5 up. 

Estate Hack €60 1 Hour

Following in the hoof prints of Lord and Lady Ventry our guests are taken through the open fields , woodlands and pathways of the estate . These offer some options for a canter or gallop should you have the experience or choose to go at a slower pace. We also visit Dingle Bay with views are in abundance .

Intended for beginners novice or can be adapted for the more experienced rider . 

Áine Trek €60 1 Hour

Taking our guests through Burnham woods and onto Dingle Bay shoreline ( tide depentent ) while enjoying the breathtaking views of Dingle Town and Mt Brandon. We then head onto what is locally know as the Áine ( Gaelic word for ring ) . This takes you on a historic ride passing local working farms dating back to the1600s , the buriel place of Lord Ventry. His Tax Collectors original house, Game Keepers cottage and Forge are also viewed from horse back.  Hacking back the avenue of what was originally Lord Ventry,s residence Burnham Manor then finishing back in the courtyard of the Estate .
